1. Get a nice jacket.

I want to get this off the ground before New Year’s Eve.

If you’re going to impress anyone on New Year’s Eve, you’ll want a snazzy jacket to stand out from the crowd. It’ll be the first thing that anyone notices on you on that cold night. Get one that is seasonable and fashionable.

A basic peacoat is great for the occasion. It is the quintessential winter jacket, and it looks good on almost anything. Pair a patterned-scarf or a brightly-colored scarf with a dark peacoat, and you’ll be the talk of the evening.

If you’re looking for something that you can wear all night, go with a nice corduroy blazer.

A corduroy blazer can be paired with jeans and a great button-down, or a nice t-shirt if that is more your style. Brown is nice and casual, but black can go with anything. You want to pair it with a shirt that will reflect your personality, and if you want to seem like a bright character, wear a bright shirt. Also, these blazers look damn slick when paired with jeans.
